Rahul is an Associate Counsel in the Dispute Resolution practice group of the firm. With over 16 years of experience, he specializes in commercial litigation and arbitration, and real estate transactions. He has significant experience in indirect tax advisory and litigation, intellectual property rights practices including media & entertainment law and regularly appears before High Courts, City Civil Courts and tribunals, including appellate authorities. He conducts legal due diligence for financial institutions, realtors, individuals, FMCG companies pertaining to real estate transactions, and also issues title certificates for real estate transactions. He advises media and entertainment clients for films, TV serials, web series, production houses, distributors, writers namely lyrists, screenplay, story, dialogue, directors, actors etc. He is a law graduate from K.C. Law College affiliated to Mumbai University.

  • Vodafone India Ltd On a writ petition filed before the High Court of Judicature at Bombay challenging the notice to hutch under Section 49 of Bombay Sales Tax Act for imposition of sales tax on voice transmission service for FY 1995 to 1999.
