The HSA Internship Program has been historically acknowledged as one of the most sought-after holistic and practical training programs for aspiring lawyers.
HSA receives thousands of internship applications throughout the year.
The firm’s endeavor is to assign interns intellectually stimulating work and provide good mentorship. Therefore, the firm typically limits the intake of interns to ensure that the members can spend time with interns, positively contribute to their careers and deliver an above par and highest caliber internship experience.
The comprehensive experience under the guided supervision of partners and teams leaves them with an understanding of the fundamentals of working in a professional environment and honing their legal skills.
HSA considers internship applications only through the firm’s website.
The firm prefers students from LL.M., LL.B., and 5-year law programs to apply in their penultimate and final years. Students in the early years of their degree program are encouraged to reapply when eligible.
The firm decides the pipeline for the following months at least two months in advance. Therefore, it is preferred that the students plan their training at least three months in advance and take steps to that end accordingly. It becomes challenging to accommodate last-minute internship requests.
HSA internships are offered on merit and requirements in various ongoing mandates as determined from time to time.
The most desirable traits in HSA interns are good communication and interpersonal skills, willingness to work hard, and ability to work in a team.
