Shailendra Kumar Singh

Shailendra has close to 19 years of experience in providing transaction advisory and legal services to corporate and government clients in the energy and infrastructure space in a diverse range of sub-sectors, as well as on government policy and regulatory issues. Shailendra is a Partner in Projects, Energy & Infrastructure practice group of the firm.

His primary practice area spans across a broad range of commercial and regulatory legal advice in power, oil & gas, mining, transport, social and urban infrastructure development projects along with dispute resolution. Shailendra has provided legal services to clients with respect to drafting, reviewing, and negotiation of various contracts as well as advice on contract strategy, structuring, drafting and negotiations of project documents besides advising on government policy, regulatory issues and corporate/commercial laws. He has also advised Government(s) on structuring and drafting of legislation(s) and policies.

Shailendra is known for his thought leadership pertaining to legal developments in the infrastructure space and regularly speaks at various prestigious conferences and has been a visiting faculty at IPPRI. Shailendra has, in the past worked with Trilegal, L&L Partners and was Partner and Head of Infrastructure and Projects practice at Advaita Legal. He is a law graduate from the prestigious University of Delhi; completed his LL.M. from Kurukshetra University and has an MBA degree as well to his credit.

Hemant Sahai

Hemant Sahai is the Founding Partner of HSA Advocates and is responsible for the firm’s strategic growth and development

In a career spanning over three decades, he has developed a distinct focus on projects, energy & infrastructure, regulatory disputes and governance issues impacting companies and their boards.

As a member of several government committees, Hemant frequently advises ministries and regulatory authorities on refining the legal and policy framework in India. He advises companies and their boards on a range of aspects such as enterprise risk, corporate governance, regulatory challenges, corporate restructuring and dispute strategy.

Hemant is a member of the boards of several organizations, including public listed companies. He has studied B. Com (Hons) and LL.B. at University of Delhi and is also a member of International Bar Association.

Amrita Narayan

Amrita is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution practice group of the firm. With over 20 years of experience in the field, she regularly appears before various fora including the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts and Tribunals. She also acts for and advises clients in arbitration matters. Amrita advises clients on various matters related to civil law, criminal law, matters related to aviation sector, consumer protection law, service and employment law, environment law, electricity act, arbitration and conciliation act, income tax act and education matters. She is a B.A. (Hons) and law graduate from University of Delhi.

Nitish Gupta

Nitish is a partner in the Regulatory & Policy practice group of the firm.

With over 11 years of experience, he has undertaken litigations concerning a wide range of subjects including Electricity (generation, distribution and trading), commercial arbitrations, issues pertaining to interpretation of commercial contracts, Intellectual Property Rights, contracts and service laws.
