Ishaan is an Associate Partner in the Restructuring & Insolvency and Dispute Resolution practice groups of the firm. He specializes in insolvency & bankruptcy laws, banking litigation, securitization laws, corporate litigation, and arbitration laws. Ishaan handles matters across various sectors including renewable energy, automobile, hospitality and road and highways. He is a law graduate from University School of Law & Legal Studies, IP University, Delhi and did his LL.M. (Pro.) in Banking and Financial Studies from National Law University, Delhi.

• Represented Asset Reconstruction Company (India) Ltd. before the Supreme Court of India in the matter of Asset Reconstruction Company (India) Ltd. vs Bishal Jaiswal & Anr. and received a favourable judgment holding that entries in balance sheets can amount to acknowledgment of debt for the purpose of Section 18 of the Limitation Act, 1963.
• Represented South East UP Power Transmission Co. Ltd. in the landmark Swiss Ribbons Judgment by the Supreme Court, on the constitutional validity of the provisions of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016.
• Represented South East UP Power Transmission Co. Ltd. in the landmark Dharani Sugar Judgment, by which the RBI Circular dated February 12, 2018, containing the revised framework for resolution of stressed assets, was struck down as being unconstitutional.
• Represented IIFL and Asset Reconstruction Company (India) Ltd in proceedings pertaining to the insolvency resolution process of Satra Properties (India) Ltd and Satra Properties Development Pvt Ltd before the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, New Delhi and the Supreme Court.
• Represented IDBI Trusteeship Services Limited in proceedings pertaining to the insolvency resolution process of Shipra Estate Limited before the National Company Law Tribunal and the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, New Delhi.
• Represented State Bank of India in proceedings pertaining to the insolvency resolution process of Syska LED Lights Pvt Ltd before the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, New Delhi.
• Representing ICICI Bank in proceedings pertaining to the insolvency resolution process of Punj Lloyd Limited, Gwalior Bypass Project Ltd, Unnati Fortune Holdings Ltd, and Ferrous Infrastructure Private Limited.
• Represented ICICI Bank in recovery proceedings against Religare Finvest Limited before the Debts Recovery Tribunal, Debts Recovery Appellate Tribunal and related proceedings before the Delhi High Court.
