Saurya is part of Corporate & Commercial practice group of the firm and heads Firm’s Kolkata office. He also anchors key domestic and international initiatives for the Firm. Saurya specializes in Corporate Laws with greater focus on private M&A, joint ventures, cross border transactions, private fund/venture capital investments, asset and business sales, corporate restructuring, commercial contracts, compliance and strategic advisory. He has led large and complex transactions involving prominent business houses and conglomerates, and successfully led-midmarket matters as well as deals in the SME/start-up space. He is often quoted as an expert and thought leader by various national and international publications. Saurya is a law graduate from West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata.
