Ravi Jain is a partner with Projects, Energy & Infrastructure practice group of the firm.
With 18 years in practice, Ravi has advised eminent business houses, funds, banks and financial institutions and government undertakings on all aspects of law and documentation in transactions pertaining to domestic and cross border M&A, private equity investments, project documentation, debt funding, commercial transactions, regulatory advisory and disputes.
In respect of the above, his primary focus has been on infrastructure, energy, and natural resources sector particularly, power (wind, solar, thermal and hydro), roads, mines and metals (including coal, steel and cement industry), seaports, oil and gas (up-stream, mid-stream and downstream including LNG), aviation and logistics sectors.
Ravi has consistently advised clients on regulatory issues and project risk assessments, drafting project contracts such as EPC contracts, O&M agreements, infrastructure sharing contracts, power purchase agreements, evacuation and transmission agreements, oil and gas sales and transportation agreements, FSRU leasing agreements, tank terminal leasing agreements, fuel sourcing contracts, mine development agreements, sub-concessions, project management agreements, production sharing contracts, joint operating agreements and government concessions. Ravi also has substantial experience in independently handling civil and criminal litigations and arbitrations.
