About

Rachika is a partner in the Corporate & Commercial and Projects, Energy & Infrastructure practice group of the firm. With over 15 years of experience, she has diverse experience in handling corporate transactions including domestic as well as cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments and joint ventures. She has worked on a broad range of deals particularly in the power, oil and gas and mining sector and also has experience in working on PPP projects for developing infrastructure relating to transport facilities like rail and ports. Prior to joining HSA, she was General Counsel of Ostro Energy. She is a law graduate from National Law Institute University, Bhopal and obtained her LL.M. from London School of Economics & Political Science, UK.

  • Sim Industries on its joint venture to set up India's first simulator-based pilot training centre in India. The transaction included finance lease agreement between SIM Lease and the Indian joint venture company of SIM Industries for simulators required for pilot training, including drafting finance lease agreement and share pledge agreement.
  • Caparo Energy India (now Mytrah Energy) on its long-term contract and EPC contracts with the developer Suzlon Energy Limited for setting up wind farms of aggregate capacity of 3000MW in various Indian states.
  • Maharatna public sector undertaking on its long-term gas sale and purchase agreement with Mitsui.
