Monali is a Partner in the Corporate & Commercial and Defence & Aerospace practice groups of the firm. With over 15 years of experience, she specializes in M&A and corporate restructuring in the infrastructure and projects space. Her focus practice areas are PPP projects, aerospace and defence, social infrastructure and project development in traditional infrastructure building space such as roads, ports, railways, etc. She has advised several corporations, equity investors, government entities and other public bodies and multilateral institutions such as IFC, World Bank, ADB etc. with respect to such projects in India and in GCC countries. She has advised airlines, aircraft lessors, airport operators, ground handling/ cargo operators, duty free operators, CUPPS/ CUSS/ BRS operators etc. as well as line ministries on aspects relating to the regulatory framework. She has the distinction of having advised all Pvt airport operators currently functioning in India as well as AAI/ Ministry of Civil Aviation, India on various aspects of airport concessions (aeronautical/ non-aeronautical services).
