Kshitiz is an associate partner in the Dispute Resolution practice group of the firm. With over 10 years of experience, he specializes in litigation including civil and commercial litigation, banking and arbitration. Kshitiz represents leading corporates in litigation. He has been actively engaged in handling corporate and commercial disputes; banking matters under the SARFAESI and Recovery of Debts Due to Banks and Financial Institutions Act 1993; arbitration matters (domestic and international commercial arbitration for airlines, shipping, infrastructure and civil construction companies); general civil litigation including recovery matters and property disputes; criminal matters including complaint cases and bail matters, company matters and consumer complaints. He is a qualified lawyer and obtained his LL.B. Degree from Faculty of Law, University of Delhi

  • SpiceJet in a multi-million dollar claim against it before an arbitral tribunal seated in London under ICC Rules of Arbitration and with respect to the winding up petition against it
  • GMR and M/s Karam Chand Thapar & Bros. (Coal Sales) on litigation and arbitration-related issues
  • Advising and working for works contractor in infrastructure disputes including clients such as L&T and M/s SCG Contracts
  • SpiceJet, M/s Karam Chand Thapar & Bros. (Coal Sales) in insolvency and bankruptcy matters. Also advised clients against entities like M/s Binani Cement and M/s Gandhar Oil Refinery
  • Advised and worked on certain critical and sensitive matters such as Independent Power Producers Association of India vs. RBI & Ors. before the Hon’ble Allahabad High Court and the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India
