With over 17 years of experience, he advises various national and multinational corporations on matters relating to tariff fixation of natural gas pipeline, authorization for city gas distribution, generation, distribution trading, and transmission of electricity, city gas distribution and mining. He also advises on regulatory compliances, risk analysis and mitigation strategies in relation to various infrastructure projects in energy sector. He is a law graduate from Faculty of Law, University of Delhi

  • Various renewable power generators on representing before the Andhra Pradesh High Court and Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission in matters relating to termination of power purchase agreement, reduction of tariff for supply of power and curtailment of power generated
  • Power company in its challenge to the Coal Mines (Special Provisions) Act, 2015, before the Delhi High Court, though the challenge to the constitutionality was rejected however, the High Court directed the Union Government to review and revise the asset valuation methodology in terms of the directions as contained in the judgment
  • Power distribution company in its disputes with one of biggest natural gas transporter in the Country before the Supreme Court of India. The issue before the Court is whether the regulator can impact contractual terms like take of pay obligation by way of guidelines issued in the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board Act 2006
  • City gas distribution company on representing before the High Court of Delhi in its challenge to the legality of some of the provisions of Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (Authorizing Entities to Lay, Build, Operate or Expand City or Local Natural Gas Distribution Networks) Regulations, 2008 and also the order rejecting city gas distribution authorization for the geographical area of Lucknow
