Conference Manager
(Based in Mumbai, India)

Will be part of the Marketing & Communication Team, as a conference manager you will serve as the Firms liaison in organizing and coordinating executive outreach and external relations efforts and assist extensively in relationship building and business development activities.


Your role will be to conduct Firms conference & seminars ensuring maximum participation and learning. You will be required to conduct industry specific analysis on trends/ market research on competition. Analyze and derive relevant legal content topics for all digital & traditional channels such as external marketing collaterals, magazines and PR stories. Research & identify brands from relevant industry sectors for conference sponsorships and associating with them. You shall be responsible to identify key associations and knowledge partners from the industry and associate with them for technical expertise. You will be entrusted with the task of networking with key people in industry and getting them on board as speakers from relevant industry sectors. You shall be responsible for audience development activities for maximum registration of delegates for the conference. You will prepare and maintain database for CRM purpose. You will be responsible to coordinate with different teams for smooth execution of Conference & Seminars:

  • Marketing & Communication Team – To ensure preparation of all collateral and communication to relevant audience.
  • Administration team – For logistics, vendor management, database building, budgeting and other support related to conference.


You should be a post graduate with 3 – 5 years’ experience with proficient written & verbal communication. You have excellent presentation skills with positive attitude & proactive approach along with good interpersonal, communication and networking skills. You are self motivated and goal driven. You are pragmatic and execution savvy and are able to get things done. You are strong at people skills and ability to develop a good rapport with industry people and clients along with team leadership skills. You have good business acumen, capacity to develop strong relationships and the ability to setup. You must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities. For this role, networking & coordination skills are of utmost importance.
