Childreach India is a not-for-profit organisation that has been consistently working in India since 2010 by undertaking direct projects as well as in partnership with grassroots organisations, institutions and corporate to unlock a child’s access to education, health care, protection and most importantly an opportunity for participation. The focus projects are on Right to Education (RTE) and Right to Food (RTF), campaigns for underprivileged children.

HSA Partner, Aparajit Bhattacharya and Devika Chadha (Associate), have been working with Childreach on their projects in Delhi, India. Aparajit Bhattacharya sits on the board of directors and is a member of the board of trustees for Childreach India. All legal services were provided in relation to all project implementation, contractual matters, advising on FCRA aspects, as well as HR related matters. The CSR objectives of HSA gelled well with the objectives of Childreach, and most importantly the growth and development of underprivileged children. HSA Advocates has supported all Childreach projects since 2013, through-and-through and provided full legal and transaction support to Childreach for the planning, development and implementation of projects.

The firm is proud to be associated with Childreach and having had the opportunity of working on projects which directly impacts in improving the livelihoods of underprivileged children. Reaching deprived and underprivileged pockets of India to unlock children’s potential and at the same time the projects aim to empower children to advocate for their rights.
